Recently, the Cecchetti Society Trust held its annual “From Studio to Stage” event at The Royal Ballet School in London. We’re proud to say our current Mentors in Ballet Education students Maddison and Momoka, along with alumni Emily and Elizabeth, gave fantastic performances that showed off their hard work and love for ballet.
From Studio To Stage
The event, held in memory of teachers Barbara Fewster OBE and Richard Glasstone MBE, included demonstrations, interviews, and performances that highlighted the Cecchetti method of training. Dancers and students shared their skills, and there was even coaching with Royal Ballet artists, finishing with a beautiful pas de deux from Ashton’s Rhapsody.
The day ended with a moving tribute to Barbara Fewster and Richard Glasstone, featuring words from well-known figures in the ballet world.

A big thank you to The Royal Ballet School and the Cecchetti Society for putting on such a great event. We’re excited to get back into the studios, inspired by all the talent and passion we saw. Congratulations again to Maddison, Momoka, Emily, Elizabeth, and all the dancers who took part. We can’t wait to see what they do next.
