RAIL
• Burnley is served by both the East Lancashire and Calder Valley lines, with trains stopping mainly at Burnley Central Station or Burnley Manchester Road Station.
• Burnley has four railway stations: Manchester Road, Central, Rosegrove, and Barracks.
• Manchester Road station has a direct rail route to Manchester Victoria station, and onward to Wigan Wallgate via the restored Todmorden Curve.
• Northern Rail operates services to places like Preston, Colne, Blackpool, York, and Manchester.
BUS
• The Burnley Bus Company, part of Transdev, operates local bus services, including Mainline services connecting Burnley with Padiham, Clitheroe, Accrington, Nelson, and Colne.
• Bus routes also serve the town from Rawtenstall and Manchester.
• The nearest bus stations to Burnley are Burnley Central and Hargreaves Street.
• Burnley bus station opened in October 2002 and consists of 11 stands, a travel centre, and electronic passenger boards.
