For many years, Lynsey and Simon have held Summer courses in many venues and former attendees are now scattered far and wide across the globe.🌏
It’s day 2 of our summer school 2026 and we are having a wonderful time. It would be lovely to hear any stories from former students whether you attended as far back as the early 2000’s and our time in Colne, or maybe whilst we were based at Moorland School?🩵💛💜🩷
All the preparations have been done and we look forward to welcoming all Summer School students to a very exciting La fille mal gardée themed week!
There will be Technique and Repertoire alongside strengthening classes and more. Summer School is always a wonderful week for the forming and enhancing of great friendships and we look forward to seeing the smiles and progress of attending students throughout the course.

We had a wonderful time sharing in the Burnley Business Awards 2026! What a beautiful back drop Towneley Hall, Historic House, Art Gallery & Museum made for the graceful movements performed by our talented students. We love being a part of such a collaborative community and are growing ever excited in the anticipation of Burnley Year of Culture 2027. Well done to all the businesses who were selected for merit in their achievements and we thank you for all the fabulous comments and admiration of all the success we continue to deliver.🩵💛💜🩷

We’re very excited to watch the Mentors in Ballet Education students perform as show week arrives. From Aurora’s Birthday Party to Underground madness and from graceful Swans to Blackpool beach. It’s a fun a varied show with an energetic climax bringing students from across our courses together. To all our wonderful students, have fun and enjoy every minute!🩰🩵💛💜🩷🩰
We hope everyone is able to enjoy the warm weather and stay safe. We continue to prepare for our show and examinations, but with plenty of extra breaks and hydration throughout our day!😎
Today’s Wednesday Wisdom was imparted by the wonderful Gillian Hurst, who coached students on their variations for the Summer Show. We are grateful for the meticulous detail on both technique and artistry that Miss Hurst generously gifted.

Another wonderful day with our Enhancement students. Whether a part of an intensive training package or an enhancement to other weekly classes, our much sort after methods are packed full of technical development and fun. The students worked very hard today on the pieces for our end of year performance.🩵💛💜🩷
🩵💛Our Flexi Course means that young aspiring dancers get to train intensively on specific days and choose the best plan for their personal journey. Today they’re developing strength, technique and learning repertoire.💜🩷
