What Grade Level Do You Teach Towards?

At Mentors in Ballet Education (MIBE), our Classical Ballet Development Program is designed to provide age-appropriate, high-quality ballet training that prepares dancers for the demands of today’s professional industry. Rather than focusing solely on exam grades, we place emphasis on technical excellence, artistry, and progression through structured levels of study.

Levels of Study

Our ballet lessons and ballet workshops are grouped by both age and ability to ensure students receive the right level of challenge and support:

  • Level 1A/1B (Ages 7–12, Junior): Building a strong technical foundation with focus on coordination, musicality, and artistry in a nurturing ballet studio environment.

  • Level 2A/2B (Ages 11–15, Middle/Senior): Refining alignment, posture, and movement quality while encouraging confidence, independence, and intelligent training habits.

  • Level 3 (Ages 14–18, Advanced): Preparing students for the highest levels of professional ballet training, with emphasis on strength, control, precision, and expressive artistry.

This structured pathway ensures that every dancer, from beginner to advanced, is supported in developing both technical and performance skills.
